MigMeet has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation ("CSAE"), including child sexual abuse material ("CSAM"). Protecting minors is a core responsibility, and these standards describe how we prohibit, prevent, detect, and respond to CSAE across the MigMeet mobile app and website (together, the "Service"). These standards apply to everyone who uses MigMeet and to all content and conduct on the Service.
1. Our commitment
MigMeet is committed to complying with all applicable child-safety laws and with the child-safety standards of Google Play and the Apple App Store. We prohibit any content, behaviour, or use of the Service that sexualises, endangers, exploits, or abuses a child, and we act quickly to remove such content and the accounts responsible.
2. Prohibited content and conduct
The following are strictly forbidden on MigMeet:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any content that sexualises minors, whether real, animated, computer-generated, or AI-generated.
- Grooming, sexual solicitation, sextortion, or any attempt to establish sexual contact with a minor.
- Sharing, requesting, or facilitating the exchange of CSAE material or links.
- Sexualising, endangering, or otherwise exploiting a minor in text, images, voice, video, gifts, usernames, or profile details.
- Trafficking, luring, or advertising a minor for sexual purposes.
3. Minimum age requirement
MigMeet is not directed to children. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use the Service. Accounts we believe belong to a person under this age are removed. If you believe a minor is using MigMeet, please report it using the contacts below.
4. How we prevent and detect CSAE
- In-app reporting. Every profile, post, story, message, and chat room can be reported. Users can also block others and leave rooms at any time.
- Moderation. Our moderation team and room moderators review reports and monitor activity, and can remove content, restrict, suspend, or permanently ban accounts.
- Account controls. Sign-in is verified by phone number, which supports accountability and helps us act against repeat offenders.
- Prompt removal. Content that violates these standards is removed as quickly as possible once identified.
5. How we respond
When we identify CSAE on the Service, we:
- Remove the offending content;
- Suspend or permanently terminate the responsible account(s);
- Preserve relevant information as required by law; and
- Report confirmed CSAM to the appropriate authorities, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and/or relevant local law-enforcement or child-protection agencies, as applicable.
6. How to report a concern
If you encounter content or behaviour that endangers a child, please report it immediately:
- In the app: use the report option on the profile, post, story, message, or chat room.
- By email (child-safety contact): [email protected]
- General support: [email protected]
We review every child-safety report and respond as a priority. If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services or law-enforcement authorities right away.
7. Reporting to authorities
You can also report child sexual abuse and exploitation directly to:
- National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) — report.cybertip.org
- Your local police or national child-protection hotline.
8. Point of contact
Our designated child-safety point of contact can be reached at [email protected]. We keep these standards under review and update them as our Service and applicable requirements evolve.
